Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance do I need to order a charcuterie board?
We recommend placing orders for our charcuterie collections at least 72 hours to a week in advance depending on the board. This allows us sufficient time to source fresh ingredients and prepare your order with the highest quality standards.
For custom boards or grazing tables, we recommend providing a minimum of two weeks’ notice to allow time for planning, sourcing specialty items, and preparing custom elements.
Where do I pick up my order?
We offer pickup from our Commercial Kitchen in San Francisco, CA. The exact pickup address and instructions will be provided after your order has been confirmed.
Does Oak Tree Charcuterie and Blooms deliver?
Yes, we offer delivery within select areas.
Our standard delivery area covers locations between San Leandro, CA and Vallejo, CA.
-

If your location falls outside this range, please contact us prior to placing your order. Delivery to other areas within Northern California may be available for a fee ranging from $25 – $100, depending on distance and logistics.
How far in advance do I need to reserve a grazing table?
We recommend reserving grazing tables 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure adequate planning.
This allows time to:
-
Source specialty ingredients
-
Order custom decor or signage
-
Prepare florals or other design elements
Large events or peak seasons may require additional notice.
What does the client need to provide for their catered event?
Clients are not required to provide many materials; however, the following may be needed:
-
A clean and stable table or counter space suitable for the grazing display
-
Adequate event space for setup and service
-
Optional custom signage if desired for the event (subject to design compatibility)
For food safety reasons, it is the client’s responsibility to notify Oak Tree Charcuterie and Blooms of any food allergies or dietary restrictions:
-
Charcuterie boards: at least 4 days before the order date
-
Grazing tables: at least 1 week prior to the event
Failure to disclose allergies within this timeframe may limit our ability to accommodate modifications.
What time does Oak Tree Charcuterie and Blooms arrive for to set up for catered gazing table events?
Setup time depends on the size and complexity of the grazing table.
Typical setup windows include:
-
Grazing tables: approximately 2 hours before guest arrival, plus a 15-minute buffer
-
Large charcuterie boards: 30 minutes to 1 hour before guest arrival
Exact timing will be confirmed during event planning.
How far in advance do I need to order custom gift baskets?
For one custom gift basket, we request at least one week’s notice.
For multiple gift baskets or corporate orders, we recommend two weeks’ notice to ensure proper sourcing and preparation.
Do you have vegan/vegetarian boards?
Yes. We offer both vegan and vegetarian charcuterie options.
Any board may be customized to accommodate plant-based preferences. We are happy to work with you to curate selections that match your tastes and dietary needs.
What if someone has food allergies?
Please notify us as soon as possible if anyone consuming the product has food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Clients are responsible for informing us within the following timeframes:
-
Charcuterie boards: at least 3 days prior

While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergy concerns, Oak Tree Charcuterie and Blooms cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, as ingredients may be prepared in facilities that handle common allergens.

Consume as soon as possible after pickup or delivery
-
We recommend consuming the board within 48 hours of preparation
